"I love connecting people. I love creating synchronicity!" -- Vicki Fox
Vicki Fox's exuberance for life and commitment to helping "ordinary women achieve extraordinary things" is apparent the moment you speak with her. "I love helping people realize their potential- and I love finding inspirational ways in which to help those who might be "stuck" become unstuck so they can either resume, or begin, their journey to a life filled with happiness and peace." And, like many of us, Vicki's journey has had its twists and turns along the way. However, she is proof positive that change is possible- regardless of age, surroundings or background. "Ten years ago, at age 45, I took a look at my life. I had ended a 25-year marriage and had two teenagers. I knew everything about my children and my soon to be ex's likes, dislikes and dreams. But my dreams had been long since clouded over because I was too focused on everyone else."
It was then that Vicki's search began. "I started asking myself questions, Who was I? Who did I want to become? How would I and could I reinvent myself and my life?" Vicki embarked on her journey by reading, listening and writing everything she could. Therapy? Check. Self-help books? Check. Attending personal growth workshops? Check. Eventually, her attitude about herself began to change. Well, sort of. What she discovered along the way was that she began to "uncover, rediscover and reconnect with parts of herself that had long since been placed "on hold" and were eventually shelved altogether. " I had lost sight completely of who I was. My odyssey was not about trying to create a person out there who embodied the attributes I admired. Rather, it was an inner journey of reconnecting with parts of myself I had forgotten about and with dreams I had long ago abandoned."
Taking a brief detour along the way, Vicki moved to York, where she found herself unsettled both personally and professionally. "Even though I had made great strides, I found myself returning to old habits- and I knew I had to change the course." As a celebration of getting back on track. Vicki decided to return to the area and host a 55th. "re-birthday" party for herself, inviting people she hadn't seen in years. "I just made out an invitation list and told them their presence were my presents!" The party was a great success, with almost 100% of those invited attending. What Vicki noticed was that in addition to achieving personal satisfaction from knowing her friends were there for her, these women were also networking and connecting on another level that extended beyond their common thread of knowing her. "It was amazing! People who didn't even know each other were engaging in conversations on ways to better themselves. They were helping each other through sharing their own experiences and insights. I was moved beyond words, not to mention how helpful it was for me! I knew it was a crossroads for me... as well as a beginning... of rediscovering and living my authentic self. And I knew with the right tools, it would be the beginning for other people as well."
While working full time as a court reporter, Vicki formed VICKI FOX PRODUCTIONS. as a vehicle to provide the inspiration and support for others that she also wanted for herself. Through her production company, Vicki promotes and hosts classes, workshops and events that offer a wide range of experiences from many different paths and traditions. "My vision was to create a space for holistic leaders- be they singers, dancers, healers or visionaries to share their gifts in my local community." It was during this time that Vicki met Sharon. "I knew Sharon was successful at being able to combine her spirituality as a life coach with her business sense as an entrepreneur. She is simply a wealth of knowledge as well as an amazing person. I bounce ideas off her and she helps keep me grounded and focused. Sharon is the ultimate volunteer of service- and she helped inspire me to be of service to others." The diverse programs Vicki produces are designed to provide information, experiences and practical tools to help people more fully know, appreciate and express themselves.
As an offshoot of Vicki Fox Productions, "Women of Intention: Ordinary Women Making an Extraordinary Difference" was created. Its mission is simple but profound: To foster the growth, nurturance and sustainability of a community of like-minded women who support each other to live their dreams. "We talk, we share... we laugh, we cry. It's a safe space where women can come to get, or give, guidance on how to live a more fulfilling life."
Through Vicki Fox Productions and Women of Intention, Vicki has been able to work with others so they can share their gifts with those of like-mind - those who desire to change their lives and reconnect in spirit and soul and rediscover their dreams. Sharon is among those whose services Vicki finds most inspirational. "Not only do I find myself seeking Sharon's advice for my own personal guidance, I want to be sure everyone has the chance to benefit from her unique style of teaching and inspiring. In fact, we, along with intuitive healer Bonnie Schindler, are planning a Reconnecting with Earth and Spirit Women's Retreat to be held July 18-29th. I can't wait!"
When asked what she finds most rewarding about what she does, Vicki replies,"I love connecting people. I love creating synchronicity!

Coach's Note: Vicki and I met many years ago in yoga class. Our paths crisscrossed many times making a brief connection, then moving on. In the past two years it has my delight to more fully support Vicki in the unfolding of a new phase of her life. Vicki knows a lot of women and her greatest gift is networking. She creates the space for women from all walks of life to meet, connect, realize their diversity, acknowledge their commonalities, and share their gifts. She joyfully shares what she has learned from her life experiences and inspires others to find their purpose.
