For 10 years Maria DiSanto struggled with her career choice, at times feeling that her inability to find a satisfying career meant she was doing something wrong. She even questioned her ability to have a career that she loved, fearing she may have to "settle" or perhaps her dream career was just that... a dream. Although she had worked in Corporate America in three different fields and achieved success, Maria still felt something was lacking. "I was never satisfied. I just couldn't see myself going into an office and punching a time clock 40 hours a week for the next 40 years of my life. Plus, was I really making the type of difference I wanted to make?" says Maria, whose expressive eyes become distant for a moment, remembering the frustration. However, this determined dynamo never lacked in determination, vision or commitment. "I knew I wanted three things in my career: 1. to make a difference in people's lives; 2. to have time flexibility; and 3.to make a significant income and not have to struggle."
Maria, who was introduced to Sharon through her mother, sought her advice several years ago regarding a job promotion. "About four years ago, Sharon helped me tremendously with my career. She helped me go after and obtain a big promotion at a company that I had only been working at for six months. She helped me realize the greatness within myself to know that I deserved the promotion. It was for this reason that when I was struggling with my career again (I had just started my business and was stuck in a few areas), I went to Sharon for coaching. I attended a career-oriented group with Sharon and found my direction again. With Sharon's help and the support of the others in the group, I was able to become reconnected with who I am and what I wanted to accomplish in the world. As a result of tapping into her inner self, Maria found her true professional passion through ownership of a Market America Franchise, an internet based franchise that provides the average person with the ability to take advantage of the most predictable marketing trend ever - THE INTERNET. "Shopping online is big and only getting bigger, and through my franchise I help the average person get a big piece of this multi-billion dollar industry. It's amazing! For the past 10 months, I have owned my own business, and I have never been happier or more fulfilled. For the first time, I know what I want to do with the rest of my life and words simply cannot express the fulfillment I feel. It's like I am finally finding my direction and passion in life. Along with any struggles I may encounter as I grow my business, because there are always struggles, I have an inner peace knowing this is my life's purpose. I am passionate about helping others become financially secure and physically healthy, and I get to express and fulfill those passions through owning my own business. I am on track to making a six-figure ongoing, residual income through not only my Internet Franchise with Market America, but also through Real Estate investing. My goal is to not have to work after I am 30 and have a large income coming in whether I work or not. Once I have that established, I want to spend precious time with family and doing things that I love to do like triathlons, hiking, camping, and traveling with my fiance, Bill, then settling down and starting a family with him. I am truly happy, satisfied and fulfilled for the first time in my life!"
