"Leaving My Job Turned Out to Be the
Best Investment I Ever Made in Myself!"

Several years ago Joan Campbell was like many working women in the world; holding down a 9-5 job while making a home for her family. She was no longer happy at her job and felt there was much more to life than this 9 to 5 routine, but she was also afraid to make a change because of the security this job provided. Eventually she decided to leave the safety of her nice salary and wonderful health benefits despite the advice of her family and friends to stay. It was a relief at first. But after the initial few weeks of enjoying the freedom and relaxation, fear and depression set in. The loss of independence she felt while earning an income coupled with her children becoming more independent and no longer needing her as much left her feeling depressed and without purpose or value. "During that period, I realized that for so long I had been going through the motions, doing what I "thought" I should do, or rather what I thought everyone else thought I should do. I realize now that this loss of what I "believed" gave me value was actually a gift in disguise. Only I didn't know it at the time. I was looking for something that made me feel better, but I didn't know what it was, where to begin or where to look to find it. All knew was that I was miserable."

Joan traveled several avenues in search of the peace of mind that eluded her, including attending church and psychotherapy. While they served their purpose and had their place, her "aha" moment arrived one day while she was visiting The Inner-connection- a Metaphysical Adventure Shoppe located in a nearby town. It was during this visit when she first noticed a flyer on the community bulletin board for "A Gathering of Women - A Spiritual Awakening" a discussion group hosted by Sharon Marquart. "I had all these emotions and desires bubbling under the surface, but I didn't know where to begin or where to take it all. I was totally overwhelmed with all the changes that were swirling around my life during this time. The discussion group seemed like it might be a good place to try and sort it out." Joan decided to attend the discussion group. Progress was slow at first. "In the beginning all I did was cry. I didn't participate, but I did listen to other women tell their stories. I soon realized I wasn't alone. I kept going and eventually began to see things in a different light. I began to recognize my strengths and weaknesses. Relief finally came." Joan felt such a connection with Sharon she decided to see her on a weekly basis for individual coaching sessions. She also began to delve more deeply into the metaphysical side of things- taking in and learning everything she could about the spiritual journey that comes from within.

At one point, Joan signed up for a Master Alignment^TM Session. "That session was life altering for me. I was able to realize the negative patterns I had been gravitating toward and how much they were holding me back. With Sharon's help and my newfound interest in metaphysics, I began to get stronger. I studied and practiced on my own. I realized that this was the missing puzzle piece I had been looking for. At one point I felt guided to ask The Inner-Connection if they would be willing to schedule me to do a workshop. I told them that I had received a lot of intuitive information to present, which included doing intuitive readings as well. Much to my surprise they said yes! Then panic and fear overtook me. I was just learning to get comfortable in my own skin, let alone try and help others! But I knew this was my calling- I just didn't know how to deal with, organize and present it. Sharon and I sat down and she helped me focus. We devised a plan and she helped me see clarity and become organized. My fears began to give way to excitement. That first workshop was a success and a major stepping-stone for me. I now regularly host a number of workshops at The Inner-Connection as well as various metaphysical shoppes throughout the area. I also offer private Master Alignment^TM sessions, intuitive readings, spirit circles and other workshops geared toward spiritual enlightenment. I wouldn't have been able to do this without Sharon's help."

Joan's newfound confidence led her to create a cd entitled "The Golden Seed," a narrated spiritual journey encouraging others to "go within" and find their safe space whenever life seems overwhelming or if they just need to slow down and consciously breathe. Joan also recently published "The Synergistic Energy Connection," a book based on the workshop and dedicated to helping others who seek clarification or need guidance on their life's journey. "Sharon's organizational skills were also invaluable in putting the information I had gathered into book form. Whenever I meet with her, things become unblocked and just begin to flow, regardless of the challenge."

Joan's journey from her days spent punching a time clock and racing against time to the spiritual path she walks today is truly inspiring. "Although many things contributed to my awakening and success - I really have Sharon to thank for helping put it all in motion. With her help I was able to turn things around, look at them in a different way. She was never judgmental, even when all I could do was sit and cry. Sharon has the ability to be with people at their level and translate what is going on within them so they can begin the process of moving forward. She has helped me in every aspect of my life. I've found my peace and am now able to help others find theirs in large part thanks to her."
